Christine Bradley, RN

Christine always goes above and beyond in the care of her patients. She was assigned a patient who had a new cancer diagnosis with a poor prognosis. Christine had a personal family experience with a similar diagnosis and was able to not only connect with the family and patient as a nurse but also with personal empathy. She spent a lot of time on multiple days' assignment with the patient and family, advocating for their wishes, consoling the patient and family, and providing excellent care both emotionally and physically. When the patient did decide on hospice, Christine was there for emotional support for the whole family and the patient. I think her personal experience helped immensely with the exemplary care this patient received and provided comfort to everyone involved.
