Christine has always shown me compassion, courtesy, and kindness and made me feel like a person and not just a cancer number. She has gone above and beyond her job, always calling and checking on me and asking if there's anything I need. She has extended this kindness to me for many years.
Chris's compassion, understanding, and patience have been amazing through my multiple myeloma journey. Her positive disposition was always a joy, and I can genuinely see she cares about each individual person. We still have a great one-on-one relationship on my journey. Always a joy.

Each time I call or am in the office, she is wonderfully courteous and patient and explains things clearly. She walks me through the steps I need to take and follow. There is always a friendly greeting and assurance that I can contact her with any questions or needs. She makes my treatment a satisfying experience.

I have been a patient for over 10 years, Chris has always been there for any questions and concerns. When she is off, the other staff says," Chris will be happy to hear that you are doing well." I know I can call with any concern, and she will get the answers for me.  I feel Chris is the foundation, and everyone looks to her for guidance.   Congratulations Chirs!

When I went to the oncology office for my first visit 6 years ago after my breast cancer diagnosis, Chris was very kind, understanding, and calming. I greatly appreciated her encouragement and caring ways. Her nursing skills are beyond reproach. I continue to see her every 3 weeks, and her calming care continues.

She constantly uses my personal schedule and makes appointments that don't interfere with my life. Whenever I call with a question or a concern, the doctor is immediately called, and his answer is returned to me. When I get upset with a prognosis or a bad lab report, she takes the time to calm my fears and further listens and answers any more questions I may have. She extremely organized and often tells me the answer before I ask the question. She is always cheerful and welcoming whenever I am in the office, whether I am seeing the doctor or not. When I was in failing health, she took all the calls from my children, answered the questions she could and referred the rest to the doctor, making sure my family got an answer as soon as possible. She is a bright and cheerful person, and I look forward to seeing her when I go to the office.

Chris is helping with all my special needs and setting up all appointments and infusions. During this sudden, unexpected illness, my only grandson was getting married in Cincinnati, Ohio (I'm in Medina, Ohio). There was no way I was going to miss it! Chris kept in contact to make sure I was OK.

I've been a patient for 12 years and have known Christine for as long as she's been at the Sharon Center location. She always greets me and treats me like I'm the only one she is concerned about. She never rushes and is kind and considerate. She always gets to the bottom of any issue and handles the resolution promptly. I don't know what I'd do without her!

It is very difficult for me to put into words one specific situation or story. I have been a patient there for many years managing my non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. At the beginning of this year, I was diagnosed with Merkel cell carcinoma. This is a very rare cancer, but Chris and the doctor studied everything they could on this disease to help me understand the situation and give me hope to beat this with the immunotherapy drug Opdivo.  Chris is very professional, knowledgeable, and the most wonderful nurse I have had the pleasure of caring for me. She made sure I had all the information I needed and went over it with me so that I could be prepared for what could be ahead. Not only is she a wonderful nurse, but she is empathetic and kind, and above all, I am blessed to call her a friend.

She is more than an example of how I'd like to see all nurses behave toward patients.

Christine (Chris), has been very helpful and caring during my cancer journey.  She has shared and clarified what I should expect from my treatments and has helped me navigate my tests and treatments. She always has a positive attitude and greets me with a smile.
