My family arrived in Montana and within two days my 1-year-old daughter L developed a fever. On day 3 of her fever I decided to take her to St. James ER. We were thousands of miles from home. I was about to start a new travel assignment at St. James, and my daughter was sick for the first time. Talk about a scary time. Christie was so sweet, attentive, and welcoming. My daughter needed to have an uncomfortable procedure and she was crying and screaming. Christie rubbed her head, sang to her, and tried to comfort her as much as she could. As a mother and as a nurse, I felt that my daughter was safe and cared for in Christie’s care. She is hands down one of the most extraordinary and compassionate nurses!
