Recently, we had a homeless patient on our unit. He was so attached to his clothing and refused to take them off. His clothing was beyond washing but it was all that he owned. Christine Donnelly went above and beyond by bringing him new clothes, shoes, and a jacket. She went completely beyond expected duties. The patient was in tears and could not believe what she had done for him. What she took as a simple gesture made this man's whole year. Chris is truly involved with her patients. She is extremely compassionate and it always shows. She is an amazing person.
