Christine Farrell, RN, BSN

Christine is an extraordinary Registered Nurse and team member to the Endoscopy Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Christine is actively involved in multiple committees (i.e. the unit-based council) to better our department and improve patient care. Christine goes above and beyond to make employees and patients feel comfortable and welcome in our department. When a new employee starts, Christine welcomes them to the department with welcoming signs and a positive attitude. Christine creates opportunities for the department to get together outside of work to help with team building and relationships. Christine has created certificates of completion to hand out to patients who have "graduated" from their colonoscopies. This shows Christine's dedication to making patients feel special and cared for. Christine demonstrates compassion for her patients by actively listening to their concerns fully assessing the patients and intervening with appropriate nursing care and effectively communicating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the patients receive the highest quality of care. Christine is caring empathetic hard working and motivated.
