Christine Hellings, RN

Chris Hellings stands out every day as an essential team member and world-class manager. She has carried our team through 3 changes in directors, a new team model approach to patient care, a new EMR, short staffing, and the COVID epidemic. No matter how busy she is, her door is always open. Chris will drop everything to help her staff. She is very approachable. When you talk to her about an issue or a recommendation on how to improve things, you really feel like she is listening. We wish she would become our director one day. Chris actually stepped down from the nurse manager position a bit ago as she wanted to return to solely patient care. However, when our director resigned, she graciously agreed to fill that role again until a new director was found. She is staying on as manager until a new nurse manager is hired to support the new director and the staff that depends on her.
