June 2021 Honoree
Christine Hollatz-Polzin, RN
Christine spoke to me like an old friend and made me feel like I was being treated by family. She told me things I didn’t necessarily want to hear but needed to hear to make me understand my treatment plan. I wasn’t pleased when it came to the repeated tests and not being able to eat or drink but she helped me make the best of it. After one of my procedures, I saw her in a hallway. She stopped to make sure I was doing OK. She didn’t have to do that; she could have walked by without me even noticing her. Knowing that she took the time to stop, and chat is what made me remember her the most.
Thank you, Christine, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
