As a travel nurse, I have come across various types of nurse leaders. I can honestly say that Chris is the best nurse manager I have ever come across in my years as a nurse. She is always PRESENT and available to assist when needed. She rounds on her staff and is always aware of what is happening on the unit. She has always been fair with scheduling/time off and flexible when needed. Since I've been at Holy Name, Chris has literally always had an open-door policy. You can go to her with an issue and can be assured it will be taken care of. In these hectic times, Chris makes her staff feel safe and protected and in this day and age, that's invaluable!
