Christine literally always went the extra mile when it came to taking care of L.
I’m one of the NICU moms specifically for L and we’ve recently been discharged. Since our discharge I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how thankful I am to the whole CHOC NICU staff especially the doctors and nurses that took care of L during our stay. All of them were amazing! They were all kind, respectful, efficient, and knowledgeable. I like how they cared for my son, paid very close attention to his needs and patterns, and they were also very kind enough to take care of me as well and make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable during my daily visits.

Christine was one of the first nurses who took care of L and she had him a few times; Christine was great, she had everything covered, she would go the extra mile in caring for L, making sure he had all that he needed, she supported me and what I wanted to be done in terms of L’s cares, she encouraged and supported me when I wanted to do skin-to-skin and even taught me how to do non-nutritive feeding just so my son and I could bond when he was NPO. She literally always went the extra mile when it came to taking care of L. She provided me printed information on L’s condition, she looked up videos on You tube for me to watch so I can learn more about what L has, etc. Her way of caring was unique, it was a motherly kind that I really liked. They did a really good job and I felt their passion for nursing. We’ve considered them not just our nurses but also our friends.
