Christine has been a SANE nurse for 10 years, which is unheard of in the field of forensics. She constantly works on how to improve our program. Our patients often suffer silently, and she offers hope and restoration. Recently, we had a patient with very challenging circumstances. Christine asked questions in search of those with answers and resources, as she did not take no for an answer. With Christine’s determination, that patient was able to obtain safety planning as well as a safe future. Christine always goes above and beyond the call of duty as a forensic nurse. She has vision, insight, and deep compassion as she advocates for her patients and truly is a beacon of hope and light to all those who encounter her. I am honored to work with her!
