Christine McMurry, ASN, RN

I was extremely fortunate to have Christine as my Pre-op Nurse! The conversational manner in which she administered my pre-op care made me feel like a special guest – she unhurriedly started my IV, telemetry, etc. She frequently checked if there was anything else she could do for me and my husband. Christine exuded an aura of warmth, compassion, and professional skill. Her trust and confidence relieved me of the fear of trusting others to be in control of my body.

As a retired RN from a large medical center, and as a staff nurse, evening and night nursing supervisor, this role reversal from caregiver to patient was uncomfortable. I have always made it my goal to recognize excellence when I see it! Christine deserves that acknowledgement.
