Christine Mikeal, BSN, RN

Christine was our nurse during the delivery of our daughter. This was our first baby and when she began her shift, I was in active labor/transition and had been laboring for the better part of the day. Christine was there every step of the way and went out of her way to make sure she did everything she could to make me more comfortable especially with all of the shaking I was doing due to the pregnancy hormones. She was one of my greatest cheerleaders as I pushed for 2 ½ hours. I suffered from a postpartum hemorrhage, second-degree tear, and drops in blood pressure that had me close to passing out several times. She was so knowledgeable when it came to helpful breastfeeding tips that made the difference in my experience at home now. Her kindness, encouragement, and dedication to her work were overwhelming and my husband and I were so grateful to have her there. You can tell nursing is her true calling in life. We are forever grateful for Christine!!
