Christine Mills is an excellent team player. She goes above and beyond to help her fellow co-workers, though she is behind on her tasks. She was taking patients on 11/14/2022. Unfortunately, a wound care resource nurse shortage occurred, and Christine jumped in by performing a wound prevalence study on 3 units, along with taking patients’ calls and meeting their needs. Without her help, it might lead to the unit's failure and non-compliance. I appreciate her willingness to help by considering the unit's needs and goals.

In addition, Christine was diagnosed with health issues, but with the same team spirit, she organized the “Appalachian Trail” and motivated the team to join. She invited all caregivers, regardless of their profession, from housekeeping to doctors. She bakes cakes and a variety of dishes for caregivers, regardless of her own health concerns, to build and support the team. I am so proud to have her on my team.
