My father was admitted with Congestive Heart Failure. He was very ill and my mother and I thought we were facing end of life decisions. Chrissy was a bright light in a very dark place for us. Her very personal interaction with us calmed us and gave us hope that he could get well and that it was in God's hands. Her light-hearted banter with my Dad rekindled a will to live in him as we thought he had given up. She walked us through all of his problems, described what was being done and reviewed possible outcomes in such a way that we were calmed and comforted. She came in on her day off to visit my Dad.
There are few people who selflessly give to others. I am so glad that we had the good fortune to meet her and that she was my Dad's nurse while he was in the ICU. Chrissy is so much more than a great nurse, she is an outstanding human being!
