Whilst on the ward, I made the team aware of my physical safety concerns at home. Christine kindly helped me get all the bits I needed to feel safer delivered to the ward. She then came home with me (25 mins each way) to install it all. We spent hours making my flat feel safer; she did most of the physical work for me.

I wanted to thank Christine for making herself available and leaving the ward environment with me. She even went to my neighbour to borrow a drill because I was too anxious to speak to any of them.

I feel she went above and beyond her job role to support me to feel safer on discharge.
