Today, my daughter, was a passenger on the bus. During the ride, she unexpectedly passed out while the bus was in the middle of the Interstate. A Jefferson Nurse, Christine Romano RN, was onboard the bus. When she discovered my daughter had fainted, she immediately jumped into action. She offered aid, comforted her, and made sure that all family members were notified about the situation. She also traveled with my daughter to the hospital, remaining by her side until a family member arrived.
If it were not for Mrs. Romano's actions, my daughter's situation could have been much worse, and she would have been alone. Mrs. Romano is the epitome of a nurse. She was kind compassionate, comforting, and knowledgeable. This was a chance encounter between two strangers. Her assistance will always be appreciated. She went above and beyond her call as a nurse, and Jefferson should be very proud to call her one of their own.
