March 2020 Honoree
christine rubo, RN
I was in the hospital for nausea and dizziness for one month constant after my hysterectomy. The doctors were concerned that I may have had a stroke. I am extremely claustrophobic and needed to be put under for my MRI. Christine knew my son's graduation was the following day and tried everything to get the MRI/anesthesia docs/techs all to get a time to work so I could see my son's graduation. The timing didn't work so she went with plan B- Ativan and calming me down. She suggested to me what to think about and completely calmed me down. She went above and beyond to advocate for me so I could be a part of a very special day for our family. I can't thank her enough.
Thank you, Christine, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
