Christine Tancredi, MS, RN, FNP-BC

After completing the nursing program this December I would like to recognize Christine Tancredi for her caring, compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated involvement in my education. Chris is a true student advocate and was my biggest supporter, she was there to help me through the tough times, to encourage me through the challenging times, and to influence me and my education. Her enthusiasm to teach was projected with each and every encounter. To have an instructor who believes in you and your abilities makes all the difference without her I do not believe that I could have become the nurse I have become. Her expertise on the clinical floor provided me with the ultimate learning experience. She also knew how to challenge me so that I could believe in myself and my abilities. This is a personal trait and attribute that I do not believe everyone has, but is definitely an attribute that a teacher should have. Her patience with each and every student allowed everyone an equal learning experience. If there is one person in the program (specifically the weekday program) that I believe deserves this recognition, it is without a doubt Christine Tancredi.
