It was a busy Saturday morning. There were several cases scheduled for the OR and one procedure to be done in SPU. We had a post-op patient and a pre-op patient that needed to go to the OR quickly. Tina saw that the PACU staff was very busy, so she called for the procedural patient directly to SPU, did the paperwork necessary for the pre-procedure and then took care of the patient post-procedure until the patient met the criteria to be transferred back to the floor. Thank you, Tina, for being such a great team player and a wonderful nurse.
