On Friday, August 21, 2015 my wife and I went to Labor & Delivery to be induced for our first baby. My wife (who was ten days past due date) was given Cervidil to get the process moving. After a long night, Erin from Labor & Delivery took care of monitoring the baby and was GREAT also (deserves an award also).
Around 9am Crissy saw an issue with the testing. The baby was having a problem - she was decelerating. Dr. L and Crissy explained all options and Crissy really made us feel more educated about our decision. She stayed with us all the way to our room in Mother/Baby. She was also keeping me informed while anesthesia was being delivered. To show how impactful she was to us, our first baby picture is with her.
It may have been business as usual, but that day she changed our lives forever. We will always have a special place in our hearts for the care and compassion Crissy gave us.
