Since I first met Christine four years ago, I have known her to be an excellent source of knowledge, delivered with compassion. Not only does she freely offer assistance on a daily basis, she is an astute observer, able to observe and assess stressful situations. During a busy day in ED triage, she was dealing with a concerned family member of a patient. When the gentleman took a seat to wait for his wife to come in via Fire Rescue, another nurse noticed the man slumped over. Christine, however, instantly noticed something was wrong. She approached the gentleman who presented to Christine in arrest. Her keen observation and rapid response, calling the code team, immediately starting CPR saved this man's life. Christine exemplifies Baptist Excellence.
