Christol Jennings 2, RN, DNP

Christol is an incredible member of the PCON Faculty. Christol constantly strives for excellence in nursing. She earned her DNP this last year only through her incredible work ethic, intellectual capacity, and sheer grit and determination. Christol shares her innovative teaching methods readily with other members of the PCON Team. She will routinely stop what she is doing to support other faculty with technology needs, review of exams and real time clinical issues. She is a natural leader. Christol demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching that inspires and motivates students, always seeking ways to better engage them. She is never satisfied and is always striving for excellence and raising the bar in all she does. She is fair and respectful in her working relationships. She is a role model for her peers, students, and all RNs. She is caring, patient, and confident. Her ability to be flexible as she has assumed leadership within NUR132 course is remarkable. She has risen to every schedule change that has occurred even when changes are done last minute. Every course detail is accounted for and is seamless. Christol is a gifted educator and exemplifies every attribute of a DAISY Honoree.
