I came to Medical Center with severe abdominal pain. I had two kidney stones and a small bowel obstruction. After being evaluated I was told that I need to have two different surgeries back to back. Chris was my ICU nurse and the first person I saw when I woke up. I truly thought that I was going to die. Chris was there to explain what was happening and to calm my fears, all while safely extubating me. He will always hold a special place in my heart for his care and compassion. He is very special.
