Chris knows the value of the little things; his touch was gentle, soft, caring, but firm and reassuring.
The day I was admitted I was in severe DKA, severely dehydrated, and out of my mind. By the time I made it to the floor, it was really late. I was confused, agitated, and frankly a little scared. Chris was my guardian angel that night. From helping me through a procedure a doctor needed to do to helping me through my shower. Making sure even though it was late that my wife had food. Talking me through the hallucination and holding me while I broke down. He knows the value of the little things; his touch was gentle, soft, caring, but firm and reassuring. His smile puts you at ease and makes you feel safe. I knew nothing would hurt me, he had me. And that was just in the first 5 minutes of meeting him. He is a gentle giant whose large form is still too small to contain his heart!
