Chris is an exceptional Behavioral Health Nurse, who brings a strong presence to his work, not threatening, but therapeutic and reassuring. He is well respected by others with whom he works, including fellow healthcare professionals as well as patients to whom he provides "care".
Chris has demonstrated a willingness since starting at Bellflower, a year and three months ago, to go above and beyond what's asked of him in his role as a Behavioral Health Nurse. He has demonstrated an ability to lead in the role of Relief Charge Nurse exercising good clinical judgment in performing the role. He is an excellent preceptor/mentor for new nurses on the unit and a model for his peers. Chris's attitude is consistently positive and kind in his interactions. He treats the patients, who are under-served and often challenging, with dignity and respect.
