Christopher is one of the nurses who really stood out during my entire stay (almost 2 weeks). ICU was a scary place and Christopher truly put my mind at ease with his extensive knowledge. He was VERY informative, compassionate, caring and really took time to explain what was happening, what each medication was for, and he was very patient with me. He was thorough in his care for me, cleaning my lines, he made sure I was comfortable and was constantly checking in on me to see if I needed anything or if I had any questions or changes in how I was feeling. Christopher is a true asset to the ICU unit and to UNM Hospital, and I believe he deserves to be recognized for his exceptional care and knowledge.
