When I started working at Cape Fear, Christopher was one of the very first nurses to welcome me with open arms. I learned quickly just how great he actually is. For just being a nurse for a little over a year, Christopher is by far one of the most empathetic, passionate, and loving nurses I have come across. He shows this to not just all of his patients but his coworkers as well. Christopher can light up any room he goes into and makes any person’s day ten times better. I saw him give one of our patients the biggest smile tonight after she was in so much pain for the past week. I watched as Christopher even sat at her bedside and comforted her until she calmed down and stopped crying. I’m blessed to have Christopher as a role model for the nurse I want to be one day.
