I currently work on the Adult Crisis Unit at NMC and received a referral to evaluate a patient at BMC ED for potential admission to our unit. Upon speaking with Chris about the patient, it became evident that he went above and beyond to uncover the patient's full story to allow both of our units to work together to provide top-notch care of the patient. As a former ED tech, I know that that ED can be a very busy place, and thus appreciate even more the extra time Chris spent to help the patient as well as our unit. Even though our provider did not end up accepting the patient, the time and effort Chris puts into doing his job has not gone unnoticed.
