Christopher goes above and beyond to ensure patients have a great experience. He is kind and compassionate to each patient he cares for and is a passionate advocate for patients who are on the autism spectrum, have significant intellectual disabilities, and some who are even nonverbal. Recently, a patient who had an intellectual disability was being discharged and chose to go to a homeless shelter during a recent heat wave, where the temperatures were in the upper 90s. Christopher spent a lot of time making her a care package of snacks, food, and cold-water bottles to take with her as she headed for the shelter. Another instance, a patient's visitor became upset and began to cry after seeing the patient they were visiting in a mentally decompensated state. He sat with the visitor for a long time, providing support and showcasing his truly kind and compassionate nature. Christopher is an exceptional advocate for all the people he cares for.
