Chris is receiving this DAISY Award for the impact a project he undertook has on our facility's patients.
Chris developed a Medication Card Booklet of the most common medications used by patients on 3North and Kendrick. These education medication cards help the patient understand the purpose of the medications they are taking during their stay and the side effects of the medication in a simple easy to understand manner.
The impact of this project touches not just one patient but all the patients that are taken care of on the two units.
Chris took on this project with great enthusiasm and ambition. He completed it in a timely manner so the patients could start using the booklet.
