Chris was a crucial part of the recovery process for my wife in the ICU. My wife's hopes for recovery were very low and her anxiety was higher than ever. As soon as we entered the ICU, Chris went above and beyond to share his positive vibes with my wife and give her an understanding of what she was going through and how we would get through it. Chris had a positive outlook and was attentive to my wife (even though he still cared for other patients). There were times when my wife would break down in tears and he would be there with positive words of affirmation. Chris was consistently on top of his game and was very knowledgeable to educate us. My wife was even stressed about not seeing our newborn twins and he helped schedule a conference room where we could spend time with them (which lifted my wife's spirits). I don't think my wife would have recovered as fast as she had if Chris was not there and sharing his positive/caring/knowledgeable vibes. Chris made sure he built a relationship and even took the time after work hours to visit my wife in the PCU after she improved. Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond. We were lucky to have you as a nurse!
