I watched Chris tirelessly work to stabilize a patient while all I could do was stand by and help him with whatever he needed. I watched him maintain a calm demeanor throughout the whole situation even taking the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what it would do to help the patient. After stabilizing the patient, I watched Chris meticulously care for him. Seeing him calmly take care of this critically-ill patient made me realize that I would one day be able to be a nurse just like Chris. He inspired me to learn more, to grow, and to always strive for the best.
