Chris deserves this award for the attention he gives to his patients. He is so sincere with his concern and also the best jokester when I needed a laugh.
I have been in the hospital several times from 2019-2021. Each time I've had the pleasure of having Chris as my nurse. He is so humble and attentive that I feel I cannot do him justice by simply filling this nomination form out. Chris deserves this award for the attention he gives to his patients. He is so sincere with his concern and also the best jokester when I needed a laugh. He traveled halfway across the hospital to bring me my medicine because I was not feeling well while going through a test in radiology.
I was so amazed when I was first admitted, I could not stop crying and Chris would joke with me to make me smile. My tears were happy tears. I was so grateful to see so many familiar faces from my previous hospitalizations. With each familiar face, I was so comforted knowing how fortunate patients at Raulerson Hospital are to have the nicest staff and the best care available.
When it was time to discharge me Chris joked with me that he was simply moving me from one room to another. We laughed and I jokingly called him "Dr.Chris." No one wants to go to the hospital if they don't have to, but there's no other place I'd rather be when I need treatment and it's because of people like Chris and all the other staff at Raulerson Hospital.
