I can’t say enough nice things about Christy. JSUMC is lucky to have her. She is a blessing. I first met her in the PICU when she cared for my baby girl, F. Christy exudes kindness and compassion. She is an amazing nurse and treated us like family. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was expertly cared for. She advocated for her, she truly cares, she listens, and made me feel heard with regard to my baby’s care. I was overjoyed to see her again in Pediatrics after our stay in PICU and I just knew that my baby would be well cared for.

I also truly appreciate that she shared stories of her own children with me. It made me feel less alone in this experience. Getting such a permanent and devastating diagnosis for our daughter and a 10-day hospital stay was incredibly hard but I was thankful to have Christy by my side. She has so much kindness in her heart and made a difficult stay much easier on us as a family. What she does here matters. She touched our lives so deeply and for that, we are eternally grateful. We will never forget the care she showed our daughter. She helped us immensely and we love her for it! Thank you! Thank you for being here for my daughter and also for me through such a difficult time. Your compassion shows. Don’t ever change! You made such a difference to us! You are loved!
