Christy is a godsend and was made for this job. As a new mom, I had no idea what to expect. She coached me through everything! I had a scare where my baby's heartbeat dropped within seconds and she never left my side. She took charge and made me feel safe and assured me everything would be OK. She was with me and my baby for three days and she made my stay that much more comfortable. She treated me as if I were her own or even better! I would recommend Christy to ANYONE! She is an amazing resource and is beyond knowledgeable! Not only was she good with my baby and me but was also amazing with my entire family. The world needs more nurses and more people like her in this world. She is someone I will never forget. Please! Please! Recognize her!

From the moment I met Christy, I got good vibes from her. She was professional every time she came into the room. Christy made it a point to say, "you have one job" and that was to make sure we were eating. She was also very informative about what was going on during my daughter's high-risk pregnancy. She made sure we understood. What stood out for me was the compassion Christy displayed. Especially when my daughter's and unborn grandson's lives were at risk. She assured us she would be by my daughter's side when they took her to the OR for an emergency c-section. For these reasons, I feel Christy is well deserving of the DAISY Award. Thank you, Christy!! Christy is simply the BEST! During our time of need, as my daughter underwent an emergency cesarean section she was there to give guidance and compassion. Her knowledge and professionalism are unparalleled. She was always there with us for any of our concerns and or questions. After the baby was born she was right by our side as well as my daughter's. She even looked after the dad and us as the new grandparents. What a true blessing she is to us. Everyone should be as lucky as us to have her during this special time!
