I was in Ward 4D, recovering from pacemaker surgery. All staff attending me were polite and professional. One of the nurses taking care of me was exceptional!
During my stay in Ward 4D, there were a couple of rather difficult patients. One of them was abusive and was using foul language, and the other was loud and demanding. After dealing with these people for hours on end, (I think one of the patients even hit her) I was absolutely amazed at Christy’s ability to brush this off and still be able to attend to my needs with such a caring attitude and happy disposition.
I have no hesitation in nominating Christy for the DAISY Award. The woman is amazing!
