Christy House, MSN-FNP, RN

Christy House is a Master's prepared Family Nurse Practitioner primarily practicing in Northwest Indiana. She received her BSN from Purdue University Calumet in 2014 and went on to obtain her MSN-FNP from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2019. Her nursing career began in 2014 in the Cardio-Thoracic unit at the University of Chicago, where she cared for Heart and Lung transplants, as well as LVAD patients. In 2017, she transferred to the Pediatric ICU at Comer Children's Hospital, where she ended her floor nursing career. In 2019, she began working as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She cared for patients with CHF, CAD, and other chronic cardiac conditions. When she moved back to Northwest Indiana in 2022, she opened a medical spa called Veiled Medical Artistry and began her career as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. She also began working at an Urgent Care in 2022 to ensure she maintained her core medical knowledge. In 2022, Christy also started her teaching career at UIC as an adjunct faculty member, instructing BSN students in their pediatric clinical rotation. Christy is a dedicated member of our team and takes pride in teaching students to provide holistic care to the patients and their family members.
