Patient Relations received a letter from the daughter of a deceased patient. The patient's daughter wanted to share her experience with Nurse Christy D. The letter stated that Christy exhibited all of the qualities of an excellent nurse. The daughter stated that Christy was caring, professional, and took care of her dying mother as though she was only sleeping and would awaken at any time. She shared that Christy cared for her mother meticulously as expected for an unconscious patient and cared for her mother in her last moments. She also shared that Christy was the only Banner staff member present at her mother's passing and was that small ray of sunshine on that day.
