I was fortunate to have this bright, committed nurse for my three night stay in the Cardiac ICU. Christy Kanko's level of competence and her excellent interpersonal skills put me at ease. She had a great sense of humor which lifted my spirits at a very difficult time. She kept me informed about lab results and constantly reassured me. I was very impressed at how she worked with other team members in a positive way that I am sure made everyone's job there more pleasant.

Christy is personally responsible for contributing to the esprit de corps that exists in the department.
