The first morning Christy walked into our room, I felt a strong sense of safety and well-being. We found ourselves at HCMH with my mom who was very ill. Her knowledge and nursing skills were phenomenal and she put all of us at ease. She was NEVER too busy to answer questions or explain procedures. Often, she would stop by our room just to check on Mom. What a wonderful and exemplary nurse you have on your team. Not only do I consider her an excellent nurse, I now consider her my friend.

I was having a total breakdown and literally terrified for my own safety when she grabbed my hands and made me look at her where she promised me that nothing would hurt me and that I was going to be ok. No reason for her to do that but she made sure that I knew I was safe and protected. I was a challenge and she handled me with great ease and control. Forever will I remember her and forever I am changed because of her.
