Following a week stay on 2 North for surgery, I went home for 18 hours and was re-admitted for complications again to 2 North. On a particularly bad night I was so down and feeling I would never get well, Christyne took the time to sit with me and reassure me. She helped me take a bath, soaked my feet and massaged my aching muscles. I know that she had an extremely busy shift and yet she took the time to provide that "special touch" and the encouraging words that helped me through a really rough spot. She was my nurse a couple of other days during my 19 days on that floor and I will say that she was the bright spot that got me through a very difficult time. I am so appreciative of everything Christyne did for me. Excellent nursing care and beyond. She was truly an angel of mercy!
