Our 85-year-old mother recently spent a few days there in MICU. From her journey beginning in the ER and then on to MICU, she had wonderful nurses and care, but there was one nurse who really was so special to our mother. Chrystal was so sweet to our mother, talking and laughing together with her and helping ease any fears while in the hospital. She was right by our mother's side, holding her hand during a scheduled procedure giving her comfort and support. She kept us informed and up to date on everything regarding my mother's condition and progress. Because of Chrystal, my family felt confident about her care. When we had to leave the unit, we knew she was in the best of hands. On the night of Chrystal's last shift that our mother was there, she stopped in to say goodbye. And they shared a hug together in this new friendship. Chrystal was just a "blessing" to our mother and all our family.
