Ciaran Callaghan, RN

I had to take my son to the A&E department as he sustained quite a serious ankle injury. From the minute we met Ciaran, the care my son received from him was just amazing. The way he spoke to my son reassured him and explained what was happening at all times. When the doctors were working with my son, Ciaran stayed with him, helping with the pain relief. My son was quite distressed, but Ciaran was so calm and reassuring at all times. As a worried Mum watching this I am so grateful to Ciaran for the way he treated my son. Also, the way he explained everything to me as a very worried Mum, answered any questions I had, and checked that I was ok.

In an extremely busy department, Ciaran's care for my son was amazing, and I am so grateful for this. My son and I cannot thank Ciaran enough for what he did for us that day.
