My daughter was transferred to PCH shortly after birth for a TEF that needed immediate surgery. She has been staying in the NICU for recovery. From the first day we had Cierra as our nurse, she has shown unparalleled support and compassion, always making it a point to update us and check in as soon as we arrive. She accommodates all of our questions and concerns (even on days she wasn't assigned as our nurse). In such a devastating situation to our family, Cierra always gave us hope with supportive words and a compassionate heart. She is always there to help me when she sees me to calm and support all of us. I truly feel she has significantly helped in our daughter's quick recovery, as she has been here only 3 weeks and on our way home after such an extensive procedure. You can tell Cierra has found where she is supposed to be and has such a pure passion for all of her patients and families. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will never forget not only what a great NICU nurse she has been but a part of our family she will always be. We could never express all of our gratitude and appreciation for her. She is one amazing and special person.

Cierra was by far the most helpful nurse we had the pleasure of working with. She was so attentive to our daughter after her surgery. Our daughter spent several weeks in the NICU. We watched her every day on the camera, like worried parents do. I can't describe the feeling of concern that we had every single day. Cierra always greeted us and our daughter with a warm smile and well-wishes. She was proficient in every skill and went out of her way to comfort and accommodate our family. Our lives will forever be touched and blessed by the impact she had every day, even when she was not our daughter's nurse. She always made it a priority to greet and care for our daughter and us!
