Cindy exemplifies what patient care is truly about. Cindy normally works at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in the Palliative Care Unit. She is also an expert oncology nurse. There was a patient at Jewish Hospital that needed a “special” chemotherapy. Cindy had worked at St. Mary & Elizabeth all day, but she cancelled her evening plans to help a patient in need. She came to Jewish Hospital to provide chemotherapy to an oncology patient that needed her “expertise”.
