Oncology nurse Cindy Dowgialo, RN touched the lives of a co-worker and her family by providing compassionate care to their father before he passed. The co-worker shared,
“My father passed away recently. We had cared for him at home the last 15 years. He suffered a severe stroke and was complete care. We stayed with him night and day while he was in the hospital. We would like to nominate his wonderful nurse Cindy for the DAISY Award. She was most compassionate in caring for my dad and also for understanding the needs of our family. She was patient and went along with our requests to make my dad as comfortable as possible. She was very pleasant and very dedicated to her profession. We would like to thank her for all she did for us and our dad at a very difficult time.”
