Cindy always brought a smile to my father's day during his stay in the hospital. My father and Cindy shared the common bond of being from Polish descent. This bond brought joy into his many days in the hospital. They would often converse in Polish and this warmed his heart to have someone to relate to in such a large place, and helped him to remember the good old days. Her familiar face made his stays so much easier. He could never forget her. My family will never forget the compassion that she showed him during his time at the hospital and during his final days.
