Another nurse had a patient present with frostbite on both hands and both feet. The patient was homeless. His coat had to be cut off. Cindy, who happened to be working alongside the other nurse, became aware of the situation. Cindy knew her aunt was out shopping and asked her if she could look for some things. They got the patient a new coat, socks, boots, and underwear. Cindy split the cost of dressing the patient prior to discharge.
