Cindy was nominated by her team for outstanding leadership in some terrible situations. Cindy cared for extreme pre-term twins that subsequently passed within 24 hours of one another. She showed exceptional compassion and care for the family that experienced the loss despite her own heart breaking, she remained professional and did what had to be done. Time and time again, Cindy has been witnessed giving exceptional care and compassion to her tiny patients and families. She is considered a blessing to so many families that have graced the NICU unit and exudes our Mercy values!
