This posthumous honor was presented to Cindy Mosby's staff in her memory.
Cindy was an amazing nurse, scheduler, leader, and manager to say the least! She expressed pure compassion and spirit to our ED family! She wanted the best in all of us and told us in her own way if we were out of line. She was there to feed, console, and cheer you on when life threw a punch.
You always knew when she was present because she came in and walked around telling everyone good morning and she would always be visible to us. She was one heck of a great manager also, she really cared about her employees and did what she could to make them happy and if you had something personal going on at home, you could always talk to her and she did whatever she could to help us out.
Cindy was an incredible leader and mentor. She was firm but kind. She cared so much about each individual's personal situations. She would go out of her way to ensure team members were able to spend important days at home with their families. She was always willing to help out on the floor even when she had a million things to do, she would do it without being asked.
She was a shoulder to lean on, she backed up her staff, and she made no excuses. She was a beautiful person, leader, and manager.
